"Our daughter started at Beehive when she was almost two years old and we'd just moved here from the UK. The teachers at Beehive are second to none, such lovely warm people who genuinely care about your children. The kindy building itself is so homely and welcoming. It's on a quiet road with barely any traffic and next to a park. The building is full of art, crafts and projects that the children have made. It's beautiful to see how proud they are when they take you by the hand to show you their latest creation! The "curriculum" is everything that we'd want it to be: child-led, based on their interests but also relevant to the real world - sustainability, being kind, families, shops etc. They also focus on social skills, manners, hand washing, sitting still, putting your hand up etc so as a parent I am confident that what I'm teaching my child at home is being backed up at kindy and vice versa. They are great at sharing what they've been doing every day so you're abreast of what they are covering. You can probably guess I'm a huge fan and I sing Beehive's praises wherever I go! We've never regretted our choice of kindy and are so thankful that we found you <3". |
